Literature

Cf. Marquardt, Schmuck - Klassizismus und Biedermeier 1780 - 1850, Munich 1983, cat. no. 478. Here a Berlin pendant necklace in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg with identical trefoil motifs. It is considered the earliest known example of Neo Gothic style in cast iron jewellery and can be dated to around 1810 due to the use of a medallion depicting Queen Louise.
