A Meissen porcelain sugar box with a still life

Oval box with original lid. Decorated with "indianische blumen" and insects, the lid with a still life of birds and insects around a basket of flowers on a bracket. Blue crossed swords mark. Minor wear to the gilding. H 7, W 12.5, D 10.5 cm.
The porcelain fired c. 1725 - 30, decor attributed to Johann Friedrich Metzsch (1706 - 1766).
