A Meissen porcelain sauce boat with squirrel motifs

Designed to resemble a ship resting on four scroll supports. Decorated with flying squirrel motifs and bundles of rice straw. Blue crossed swords mark, former's mark of Johann George Schlicke. Firing cracks to the base and through both handles, restorations to one of the mascarons. H 10.4, W 25.2 cm.
