A small Nuremberg silver gilt tankard

Cylindrical vessel with a solid cast scroll handle. Decorated with engraved trophies amid raised lobes. The lid with corresponding decor and spherical finial. Underneath an engraved coat of arms, monogrammed "A.G.V.K" and dated 1629. H 11 cm, weight 221 g.
Marks of Nicolaus Weiß, 1613 - 1635.
