A lacquer box for Buddhist utensils. Meiji period

The outside in roiro with kiku and aoi mon in hiramakie, behind an upward sliding door with silver pulls two brass stem cups for offerings. Original wooden box, the lid inscribed: Go bukki hako (box for Buddhist utensils) and the name of the owner Hirasa shi, the reverse of the lid with the date of Meiji 32 (1899).
