A small Berlin KPM porcelain cup and saucer with enamel decor

Unidentified model in eggshell porcelain. Decorated with a depiction of Leda and the swan on a raspberry red enamel ground. Blue sceptre mark, red imperial orb mark, "er" in gold. H cup 4.4, D saucer 9.5 cm.

S.a. Siemen (ed.), Impulse. Europäische Porzellanmanufakturen als Wegbereiter internationaler Lebenskultur, Hohenberg/Eger 1995, no. 256. Therein also the entry in the model book: "This service is turned with an extremely thin body, so that ... the coffee pot with lid, well fired, weighs 10 lots (=166.6 g)..." (P. I-351).
