A Russian 14k gold diamond and sapphire swirl rosette brooch with engraved dedication date on the reverse.

Set with seven cushion shaped Peruzzi-cut diamonds, six rose-cut diamonds (in total c. 0.75 ct, G/H, vs) and ten round sapphires (in total c. 0.87 ct). Pin rest hallmarked: Russian "56" zolotnik gold, indistinct marks. Engraved on the reverse: "8.11.1905 - 11.4.1919". Diameter 2.6 cm. Weight 14.15 g.
