A Belle Epoque 14k gold diamond and synthetic "Verneuil" sapphire bar brooch.

Bar brooch with trefoil terminals set with 20 old-cut and 8/8-cut diamonds. Centrally cluster set with a round synthetic sapphire of c. 2.60 ct surrounded by eight old-cut diamonds of c. 0.65 ct each. The diamonds in total c. 6.22 ct (J/K, vs). No hallmarks. L 5.9 cm. Weight 9.09 g.
