A German three stranded cultured pearl necklace with a circular 18k gold pearl and chrysoberyl cabochon clasp.

The pierced, moulded clasp set with a fine chrysoberyl cat's eye cabochon (diameter 7.91 x 8.04 mm) and 15 cultured pearls (diameter c. 2.80 - 3.00 mm). With gold hooks to attach three Akoya pearl strands (177 white pearls, one graduated with diameters c. 4.50 - 8.20 mm, the others with diameters c. 7.20 - 7.40 mm). No hallmarks. Pearls need to be re-strung. Clasp diameter 2.3 cm. L 47/ 41/40 cm. With the original box, stamped on the silk lining "Elisabeth Treskow Goldschmiedin Essen Werkhaus Margarethenhöhe".
