A pewter mounted Prószków faience jug with a musician (violin)

Painted with a figure of a harlequin playing a violin and flower sprigs. Smoothed base with blue marked P:. Horizontal glaze crack beneath the handle, the hinge repaired. The pewter mountings with Dresden hallmarks and maker's mark of Jacob Carl Fischer (master as of 1771). H incl. thumbrest 22.3 cm.
Prószków, around 1800 / early 19th C.
