An early Meissen porcelain Commedia Dell'arte saucer

Painted with a figure in a gilt tendril cartouche backed with purple lustre and hung with iron red and lustre feathers. With gilt lace rim to the interior. Marked 14 in gold, incised /. A minor chip to the underside at 9 o'clock, minor wear to the gilding. D 12.8 cm.
The porcelain c. 1720, decor attributed to Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt, around 1723 - 25.
