Of typical shape with rounded corners, the lid displaying a view of Sumiyoshi with the light house in the foreground, a torii, a drum bridge and shrine buildings in the background, in gold and silver makie with kirikane on nashiji, to the reverse of the lid cranes flying above water. The inside with nashiji on a black lacquer ground, with ink stone, water dropper, three ink sticks and three brushes. Box.
