A finely worked Tibetan silver and copper amulet box (ga´u).

Leaf-shaped, the lid decorated with Buddhist auspicious symbols. To the inside behind a glass pane, a small painting on textile of Vaisravana sitting on his roaring snow lion holding the mongoose in his left hand. In addition, a folding booklet with depictions of each tibetan zodiac-animal. (2)
