A Victorian 18k gold polychrome enamel, diamond and pearl Holbeinesque pendant with a replaced emerald green glass stone.

Three-part Renaissance style pendant finely picked out in polychrome enamel. The oval surround decorated on both sides with floral borders, the display side set with six old-cut diamonds (in total c. 0.60 ct, J/K, si) surrounding the central, later emerald-cut paste stone. The droplet set with a small old-cut diamond (c. 0.05 ct) and suspending a presumably natural Baroque form pearl (c. 10.86 x 8.49 x 7.92 mm). No hallmarks. The central oval stone replaced with the later octagonal paste stone. Total H 7 cm. Frame inner dimensions c. 19.05 x 16.86 mm. Weight 15.84 g.
