Two-part brooch designed as a perching bird pavé set with rose-cut diamonds and with a ruby for the eye on a twig encrusted with seed pearls. Prong set with three old-cut diamonds of c. 1.0 ct in total (1x c. 0.50 ct, 2 x c. 0.25 ct; J/K, p). Pin rest hallmarked: Dutch important stamp for 585 (?) gold and others. 4.0 x 5.0 cm. Weight 23.90 g.
