A Neoclassical silver ewer and basin

Deep oval basin decorated with fluting and palmettes. The slender baluster-form ewer with corresponding decor and tall, smooth handle. Both pieces monogrammed "I.L.D." to the underside. H of ewer 32 cm, L of basin 41; W 29 cm, total weight 1,645 g.
Augsburg, marks of Georg Christian Friedrich Temmler, 1802/03.
