A pair of Brussels silver centrepieces with hunting motifs

Original Rococo style bowls on tripod plinths with finely chased trelliswork and rocaille decor. The shafts formed as putti standing on rocky bases, one playing with a lamb, the other holding a rifle in his raised right hand and a stag's head in the left hand. H 23.5; diameter 23 cm, total weight 2,783 g.
Marks of Wolfers Frères, around 1920/30.
