A Meissen porcelain model of a royal rider

Smoothed base, blue crossed swords mark to the back of the plinth. Firing cracks, those to the base filled, retouches to the black pigment, one arm reattached, the rapier lost, both ears and the front legs of the horse and some foliage restored. H 26.8 cm.
Late 1740s, model by Johann Joachim Kaendler.
