A chasuble with a Cologne crucifixion embroidery

Dark blue silk velvet, silk and linen mix, gold leaf embroidered over with silk threads, white silk appliques and linen. Inscribed "ihesus", "ecce agn dei" and "maria" in blue silk between depictions of the lamb of God (the lower image severely worn) and the instruments of the Passion. The reverse with a crucifixion scene with Mary and St. John above an Anna Selbdritt. Some wear to the front. H 113, W 78 cm.
The velvet presumably Italian, 15th C., the appliques Cologne, late 15th C.
