A figure of a lady playing the flute with a bird

Carved softwood figure with painted and gilded areas, standing on a round plinth, the dress and the bird beside her encrusted with tiny seashells and snail shells. Some appliques and the fingers lost, older repairs. H 18 cm.
Venice, mid-18th C.
