A Dresden inlaid cabinet

Walnut, burr walnut, plum, pear, ebony and boxwood filet veneers on softwood, ormolu mountings. Three-drawer cabinet below with slightly serpentine front and two-doored upper section with breakfront pediment. The doors, sides and drawer fronts all with mirrored burrwood veneers within borders, the drawers with fine striped designs. The interior fitted with 18 drawers in five rows beneath two compartments. The central removable cabinet with eight drawers concealing a secret compartment. In overall well-preserved restored condition. H 212, W 124, D 60.5 cm.
