Carved ivory with minimal remains of former polychromy. Finely rendered bas-relief depiction of a woman in profile facing left with portrait-like features.
Brownish discolouration. Abrasions and dents to the edges. Mounted to a velvet covered wooden panel with metal pegs. Height 11.5 cm, depth 0.3 cm.
