Two 17th century Italian fruitwood reliefs with scenes from the Trojan war

Carved fruitwood, the reverse smooth. With minimal remains of former partial polychromy. The first relief depicting the Greek encampment with the prominent figures of Agamemnon and Achilles and the city of Troy in the background. The second showing the Trojan horse in the centre and the capture of Troy with Aeneas rescuing his father Anchises on the right.
With very minor wear. Presumably in the original frames. Each 30 x 40 cm (oval, without frames).
