An ivory carving of Christ at the column, presumably Northern France, around 1700

Both figures carved in the round. Mounted on a round wooden plinth (presumably 19th century). This scenically mounted depiction shows Christ being bound by His hands to the stump of a column by an armed soldier.
Very well preserved without losses. Height of Christ 18.5 cm, diameter of plinth 20 cm.
