Eight gold-painted black lacquer panels of a screen, mounted. 19th century

Painted in gold with a continuous scene at a temple, in the forecourt numerous luohan, buildings on the side, on the right a baby is washed, on the left a court scene with a seated judge, in the sky dragons, warriors and figures on mythical animals. Narrow floral border. Black lacquer and metal strips on the back, some still with hinges. Firmly mounted in a wooden frame.
