A pair of brown-ground lotus dishes. Republic (1912-1949)

Of deep saucer shape with a steep rim. The interior in famille rose with lotus flowers and clouds on a brown ground. On the outer wall three bats in iron-red on a turquoise ground, the turquoise-glazed bases have apocryphal iron red six-character marks Daoguang in seal script. (2)
