A wakizashi

Length of the blade 37.6 cm, hirazukuri with bohi on both sides, gunome-midare hammon, rubbed and slightly rusty, nakago: ubu, two mekugi-ana, mei: Kanemichi tsukuru (probably Mino, 17th century). Habaki: silver-plated copper with yasurime.
Koshirae: Tsuba: sentoku with round dragon in waves, fuchi-kashira, kurigata uragawara seme-gane and kojiri in the manner of a handachi-koshirae of shibuichi, in relief gilded winged dragon in waves with whitecaps and water drops of gold, the fuchi signed: Hamano Naoyuki and ōjū Asano Morichika (probably according to Haynes, H 11367.0, Hamano Yasuyuki, 1763-1836), menuki: shakudō and gilding, lobster and fern leaves, kozuka of copper, depicting a bat beside a bamboo pole in katakiri, kebori and gilding. Black binding over same, saya: on nashiji winged dragon in waves in hiramakie with a little red lacquer.
