Of cinquefoil design, painted with chrysanthemum motifs in Kakiemon polychromy. Blue crossed swords mark, engraved and blackened inventory no. "N=336.w". Each with a restored rim chip. H cup 7.8, diameter saucer 14.7 cm.

In the palace inventory, this lot is listed as part of "Seven dozen and 8 items of chocolate cups, scalopped, with artichoke leaves, with colourful flowers, 3 inch deep, 4 inch in diam: and seven dozen and 1 pieces of the same saucers, 1 3/4th inch deep, 6 1/2 inch in diam: No. 336. some defective".
