A Frankfurt faience jug with angel's head, fruit and flower motifs

Richly decorated with a finely painted fruit and vegetable wreath, tied at the handle with ribbons. The lip with a similar garland of fruit and foliage. Smoothed unmarked base. Yellowed restorations to the base of the handle and vertical cracks to the neck. Pewter cover, cuff and basal ring, H with thumb rest 18 cm.
Frankfurt, period of Johann Christian Fehr, around 1680/1690.
