An upper Rhenish carved wooden casket

Limewood and beechwood box bound together with ten wrought iron bands and eight corner mountings and with a lock to the front. Carved with acorns, lilies and tendrils across the lid, front, and back and with Gothic rosettes on the sides. With a label from the Muiderslot collection on the inside, inscribed in white with inv. no. "C. 1981 - C21" on the underside. H 11, W 25, D 20 cm.
