A Chinese export famille rose candlestick figurine of a court lady. Qianlong period, around 1760

The standing, smiling lady holds a Gu beaker vase in her left hand, serving as a candlestick, her hair is pinned up in a chignon, the upper garment is enamelled lime-green and decorated with a honeycomb pattern and coloured flowers, the back garment is pink with bats among clouds, the underskirt is coral red with gilding. The perforated, flat base is slightly clear-glazed.
