A Central Indian sandstone architectural fragment of a celestial nymph and her male companion. In the style of the 12/13th century

Both standing on a small plinth, the nymph with legs crossed, her body adorned with jewellery and strings of beads, and holding the stem of a large bud, the male figure, standing recessed and holding an attribute. Remains of a light brick-coloured limewash.
