A bronze incense burner. Meiji period

In three parts, the rounded container set into a stand on four feet above a flat base, the lid surmounted by a reclining kirin, displaying birds of prey in a landscape in relief and shishi heads to the narrow sides, the stand carved with chrysanthemums on waves and four phoenix, details in flat silver wire inlay. Weight 6.58 kg.
