A second, slightly different variation of this stock market painting with similar dimensions is currently held in private ownership (op, cit. no. 35, illus. p. 69). A third, smaller version painted in 1891, displaying much looser brushwork and a differing composition, is housed in the Städel Museum in Frankfurt (op. cit. no. 42, illus. p. 77).
