Fingers of the left hand of Christ lost. Cracks in the right leg restored and partly added. 119 x 108 x 35 cm.

Flache Plinthe mit geschwungenem Umriss. Die groß gesehene, sitzende Muttergottes stützt den Leichnam ihres toten Sohnes, indem sie seinen Kopf und seine linke Hand umfasst hält. Christus liegt mit zurückgesunkenem Haupt auf ihren Knien, sein rechter Arm hängt leblos hinab. Die Gestaltung der Pietá wird durch den Kontur des Gewandes Mariens bestimmt, der nur von Haupt und Füßen Christi durchbrochen wird.
