Stereo daguerreotype hand-tinted. Visible mat opening 6.6 x 4.8 cm each (case size 10 x 12.2 x 1.5 cm). Mounted under a gilt brass mat, there embossed 'STEREOSCOP VON T. SCHNEIDER UND SOEHNE' below the images, in original leather case with built-in viewer. - The daguerreotype with slight oxidation at the upper and lateral margins, the case with traces of use.
