Oil on canvas 57.5 x 81 cm, framed. Signed and dated Maufra 1901 in reddish-orange lower left. - On the back side of stretcher at upper left titled "Remorquage sur l'Oise (Ile Adam)" in handwriting as well as with a fragmented label at right inscribed "Maufra No. 26/ Remorquage sur/l'Oise; L'Isle Ad[am]/ 1901" in handwriting and numbered on stretcher strut "D.R. No. 2608" [Stock of Galerie Durand-Ruel, New York] in pencil as well with the photo number "2886" (Durand-Ruel) in blue.
