A wood netsuke of a Chinese boy. 19th century

Son Shukugo (chin. Sun Shuao) as a boy about to kill a two-headed snake with a club, the left hand forming a fist. The stern facial expression anticipates the boy becoming the Minister of Chu. Both hair tufts of black horn. Signed Sankô in an oval reserve.
