Standing, looking straight ahead, showing the protruding seams that joined the two halves of the clay model. Signed Mitsusada in seal form.
Height 2.9 cm; length 4.3 cm

These clay figurines (tsuchi-ningyo) were regional souvenirs of the Fushimi Inari Shrine and a popular subject of the Osaka netsuke carvers.
