Six large pieces and two packets of smaller pieces, stone, German 15th C. (GR 2.264)
The surfaces cleaned, wear with losses.

A 15th century German sandstone fragment of an ambry. Calcareous sandstone, the reverse unworked. Six fragments of a late Gothic ambry: Two edges of a tabernacle (48 x 34 x 33 cm), the socle with a coat-of-arms (15 x 70 x 37 cm), upper terminal with fish bladder tracery (54 x 66 x 36 cm), a pointed finial (80 x 48 x 32 cm) and a crowning crucifix (39 x 37 x 14 cm). Includes two packets of further fragments.
