Woodworm, minor wear. 17 x 16.5 x 5 cm.

A 17th century Flemish fruitwood group of David with the Head of Goliath. David is depicted striding to the right holding his sword aloft. Before him, a soldier carries the large, severed head of Goliath on a shield on his shoulders. On a half-length, naturalistically formed plinth.
