A bronze figure of Lakshmi. Nepal. 17th/18th century

A Nepalese bronze figure of Lakshmi, seated in lalitasana on a lotus base, her primary hands in varada- and vitarkamudra and holding attributes in her other two hands, wearing a dhoti, various jewellery and a crown. The separate embossed copper mandorla with gilt flowers in openwork. The face cold-gilded. Base sealed. 17th/18th century.
