A bronze figure of Guanyin seated in meditation on a double lotus, both hands held in dhyana mudra above the feet, at the shoulders a vase and a parrot, supported by a plant rising from Guanyin's palms, a long shawl reaches down from the shoulder to the base of the lotus. A black lacquer patina with some gilding, the lotus lacquered red. Ming dynasty.
