A Laotian bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni seated in meditation on a high undecorated pedestal, the right hand in bhumisparsa mudra, the left hand is held in avakasa mudra above the feet. Spiky curls extend over the head and ushnisha with a flame ornament. 18th/19th century.
