A kiri wood tonkotsu. Second half 19th century

A kiri wood tonkotsu of oval shape inlaid with an fan, eboshi, sceptre, magatama and a dragon medallion in different woods, mother-of-pearl and ivory, a flat ivory lid, signed Gyokusai on an inlaid mother-of-pearl tablet, along with an ivory ojime in shape of a mokugyo, signed Shôsai with kaô, and a lacquered wood kiseruzutsu in shape of two reishi, signed Kôsai(?) tô. Second half 19th century.
