A gilded and lacquered wood figure of Amida Nyorai standing on a double lotus above a high hexagonal pedestal, the left hand in vitarka mudra, the right hand missing, behind the figure a mandorla carved with clouds. The eyes of glass. Inside the base an inscription with the date Kyôhô 14 (=1729). Early 18th century.
