Two Tibetan thangkas. a) Buddha Shakyamuni seated on a lotus throne, surrounded by scenes from his life, all amidst a landscape with shrines. b) Vajrapani in yab yum, standing surrounded by flames, holding a vajra and a ghanta. In the sky various Buddhas, bodhisattvas and Lamas. Both thangkas gouache on cloth. Strong traces of use. Brocade mounting. 19th century. (2)
