A Gothic oak armoire.

With replaced cast iron mountings. A rare, early panel and frame cabinet. The five doors ornamented with tracery and four relief panels depicting the Virgin and saints. The sides with linenfold decor. Impressed stamp "GK" to one side. Some parts constructed in the wrong order after an earlier restoration, some parts replaced. H 188.5, W 154, D 40.5 cm.
Probably Meuse region/Lower Rhine, primarily late 15th / early 16th C.
