A late Gothic embroidered silk chasuble.

Embroidered tree of life and crucifixion (reverse) motifs applied to a pomegranate pattern silk robe. Severe wear to the front, some threads loose, some seams open. L ca. 123, W ca. 60 cm.
The robe probably Italian, the embroidery Rhenish (probably Lower Rhine), late 15th C.
