A silver and Shibayama footed bowl. Late 19th century

A silver and Shibayama footed bowl, the outside displaying six panels with birds and flowers of the four seasons in Shibayama on nashiji and six elephant's heads with ring handles. Silver inset showing flowers and scrolls in translucent enamels along the rim. Signed Kôshinsai Sadamasa horu on a brass tablet at the base. Minor restoration to the inside. Late 19th century.
